Make-up Blunders…

Avoid brown eye shadow that has a red undertone.

Unless you want to look like you’ve been crying all day, avoid this.

Blend your eye shadow.

Blend you eye shadow to avoid solid and unflattering lines.

Don’t cover your eyelid in one colour – especially bright blue or shimmer green.

Create definition by using up to three similar shades of colour.

Don’t use too much powder.

Brush off any excess powder for a soft finish.

Don’t wear foundation that is too dark.

Make sure that your foundation disappears into your skin when blended. You should not see a difference in shade between your face and the foundation.

Never EVER use a lip liner that is darker than your lipstick.

Your lip liner should be the same colour as your lipstick. Colour your lips with the lip liner to give the effect of longer lasting lipstick.

Shape your eyebrows, use powder, even out your lipstick.

Please learn how to do your make-up. Shape your eyebrows regularly – a salon can do this quickly and cheaply. Use powder – you don’t want a shiny face. If you are going to use lipstick ensure it covers your lips evenly.
